I read and write Christian fantasy. I enjoy the action and creativity that I find in them. However, I want more than a great story. Christian fantasy books have situations where the characters go through many problems. Many Christian fantasy books have helped me understand God and his love for me in a life-changing way. They have also shown me where to find the strength to endure my own hard times.
However, the question is, how do you handle your problems and decisions?
The characters in my stories have problems, some small and others huge. At times, my characters use the wrong approach to solving troubles. However, as they mature, I have them make better choices.
I want readers, through my characters, to understand God's love, forgiveness, and guidance in a deeper way. Then, of course, apply them to your life. If we are willing to allow God to take the driver’s seat of our lives we can sit back and watch the world, and our problems, go by.
Sometimes God takes away our problems or illnesses; however, many times, He calms us and helps us through them. Either way, He is always there for us.
