There are two types of decisions. Ones that we make once and for all; such as marriage or having kids, etc.
The second type is the decisions we have to make continuously. Should we take the time to praise our spouses and children daily, what about putting others’ needs before our own. How about being positive and encouraging toward others, when we’re in a hurry? Do we do what we want or what is right? Do we trust God through the tough circumstance? Do we write daily, or put it off until we forget about it? These are just a few of the decisions we have to make on a daily, sometimes moment-by-moment basis.
I hadn’t thought about this until recently. I had put my trust in Jesus years ago and thought all was well. When I started having problems with my health, I questioned everything, my future, my changing lifestyle, and my independence.
We also make choices in our writing. I’m not talking about the plot or characters in our stories. I’m talking about our attitude, our beliefs, what we think we can do or not do.
Is something holding you back? Which little voice do you choose to listen to?
